My Metal star

Now I finally tried out the aliminiumtape from Biltema.



I made my folded paperstar out of two scrapbookpages that I covered with bites of the aluminiumtape in different sizes.



After I folded it I took a needle and pierced along the edges and the overlaps.






Then I took black acrylic paint and dabbed on the whole star and wiped away some of it! The decoration is simpel with paperflowers and pearls, and a rub on saying friends

How I organize my liquid pearls, stickles and glitters

I was sick and tired of them standing on a loooooong line on my shelves, so I figured it was time to make a rack for them



As you can see I made it like a staircase. I made it out of woodsticks ( a little thicker and longer than popsicle sticks)



I think it turned out pretty good. And If you want to you can paint it in the colour you want. I am thinking about a metallic paint, to make it look like iron, or just a sweet pink colour ( I will never stop loving pink)



I just LOVE all the new colours on liquid pearls, and even the the ¨new old ones¨are a little bit different from the old ones, so I have sooo many colours now..

To the LOVE of my life at our 5 anniversary....

Like last year I have made a bench to my husband Joakim for our anniversary.
I Figured out it was a perfect symbol for us.
We met at church, and where sitting in the benches and had secret looks at each other...
He was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen, and I fell for him that very first day...
One year after we met we married, and today that is 5 years ago.

I imagine us sitting in a little garden house in the middle of our garden when we are old, rocking in the sunlight, drinking our morning tea. JOAKIM, I LOVE YOU!!!



Inside the house I made a little crystal lamp out of woodweels, matches, steel tread, some pearls, and mini paper roses



Here is also a little birdhouse sitting on the bench. Made it out from the bigger sized icecrean sticks. Painted it and made a hole with my crop-a-dile



This is a little heartshaped piece of wood, that I just painted, and wrote our names on to.



The floring inside is mosaic that my husband has given me. He works as a carpenter, so leftovers is brought home to me:)



Here is the whole model, with the wedding date painted on the front.



Here is the little crystal lamp hanging outside. As you can see from the size of the leaves the lamp is not big at all:)

A vintage paperrose surrounded by a bunch of small ones are decorating the front. Some butterfly charms is also hanging in the flower arrangement



All the pearldecorations are made out of these ones. I like the ones without glue the best. Then I know that the really will stick when I use my favorite glue Tacky glue.



I used them on the trim that I glues on to the bench, and I also made some swirls with them on the front.

A table full of FLOWERS!!!!!

My lovely husband made another dream come true......A FLOWER TABLE.

I have walked around with an idea, that I would like a table where I could organize my flowers. I had a little brainstorming with my husband, and together we came up with the best idea for my type of flowers:

A table where I could put my roses in small holes, so that I always see them perfecty.

Here is what we did:



First of all he built a frame out of left over material.
We bought some table legs that we screwed on the frame. And some kind of metal mesh that we stitched around the frame.



He also made me a little one to have on the top, for my smaller flowers.
So i just started to put them in position arranged by colours.



I love the way it turned out. So easy to just grab what you want



There is going to be a little bench underneath it, so I could put my baskets with flat flowers under the roses.
So right now they are just placed under the table. I just couldn´t wait to show you:)

I have built a little train...

Many months ago I made this train. But I had no motivation to decorate it, so I just forgot all about it. Some weeks ago I found it again, and figured out it was time to finish it.
As always the model is made by me, build by me and decorated by me.

I made a little hollywood touch to it with putting some letters in the backround. Lykke means happiness in Norwegian



I took one of my vinyls wich has some golden swirls/medaljons on, and glued it on the side and in the front. The rest of the train was painted in white acrylicpaint mixed with craclepaint. To make a worn out look I used a fluid chalk and dabbed on the edges.



Some trims and matching ribbons where also glued on. In all the dots of the brown polkadot ribbons I glued a little golden rhinestone



Only the locomotive



In one of the two wagons I rolled diapers to make it look like woodstocks. To decorate this diapers I used a grey ribbon, a blue paperflower with golden acrylicpaint on the edges, and a golden button with a pearl in the middle (around the pearl I used walnut stain stickles to pick up some browns also in that decoration)




On the wagons and the locomotive I used an adeshieve ribbon as a schablon and dabbed liquid chalk to make a pattern.



In the other wagon there is some bottles with babyshower gel, babyoil, and babypowder. I took of all the labels and glued them on a card that is underneath them. In that way the parents will know the ingredients in the products.



On the back of the locomotive I used a stamp and embossed this pattern with copper embossingpowder, and chocolate embossingpowder



Some more details of the train



In the front is a wooden crown painted with walnut stain distressed stickles. On the top of it I glued on two brads that I first painted with golden acrylicpaint



On the side I used a rub on text, and a little keylock/key/flower/screw arrangement that I put together.

To make the wheels look like they do, I first painted it with brown acrylicpaint, then golden acrylicpaint, and in the end i used some punchinilla for schablon and dubbed fluid chalk on it.

I ALSO TOOK IT WITH ME OUT IN THE FOREST BY NIGHT AND TRIED TO MADE A WARM MOOD IN THE PICTURES:
